fst’s Runner up at Young Lions 2016!
by Josefina Franci at May 5, 2016
As we mentioned before, Matt and I participated in the Young Lions 2016 for the film category. Back in March, we had to come up with a social media video for the Red Cross to encourage people in the UK to have a more positive attitude towards the refugees arriving in their hometowns.
We only had 48 hours to come up with a concept and we’re only allowed to film on a smartphone.
A couple of weeks ago, we received an email with amazing news – the film got shortlisted! But for the final results to be revealed, we had to wait until this week.
Finally, the day we were all waiting for has arrived and we got pretty awesome news – OUR FILM HAS BEEN CHOSEN AS RUNNER UP!
Well, we don’t get to go to Cannes this year, but this is still an incredible achievement, especially after knowing that we finished ahead of several big London agencies, including VCCP, Saatchi and Saatchi and adam&eveDDB.
What’s the next step? Just wait till next year and in the meantime, watch what we came up with during those 48 hours.
