fst triumph in Marketing Triathlon

Congratulations to fst who competed in the very first 2009 MARKETING INDUSTRY TRIATHLON on Friday 10th July at Dorney Lake, Berkshire – the 2012 Olympic Rowing venue!

The event was a huge success attracting over 450 competitors from some of the biggest brands and agencies in the Marketing industry.

fst entered 2 teams into the Super Sprint Distance Relay which involved a 400m open water swim, a 15km closed bike loop around the lake and a 4km run.

The 2 teams and their loyal fst supporters donned their orange fst t-shirts and headed down to Dorney lake. The sun was shining, but a strong wind made for a tough race with the cycling a particularly challenging leg.

Our two fst teams romped home in first and third place, gaining yet another winning trophy to proudly display on our mantelpiece.

fst, whose social networking events usually centre around a drinking hole and involve activities of more of a laid back nature, showed that they have a sporty side too!
